What are Awaiting Results?

Many students when they want to apply to various universities in Nigeria sometimes put Awaiting Result (A.R) to inform the school of interest that the result has not been released meaning it is not yet available for submission but in due time it will be made available. Reason behind that is because results from Senior School Certificate Examinations, SSCEs, whether WAEC, NECO or NABTEB takes about 3 months from the date examination was taken.

Reasons Why Students Use Awaiting Results.

There are lot of reasons why people use awaiting result to apply for JAMB. The most common ones are:

1. You just wrote NECO, WAEC, NAPTEB and the result is not yet released

2. Your result are out but not yet complete (Having deficiency).

3. The whole result is out but withheld by the examination body. Though there is hope of it been released.

4. One single core subject is withheld.

3. University Of Ibadan

4.University of Calabar

The University of Calabar – also known as UNICAL – is a university situated in Calabar, Cross River State, south-south Nigeria. It is one of Nigeria’s second generation federal universities. The University of Calabar was a campus of the University of Nigeria until 1975. The architecture was designed by John Elliott. 5.University of Port Harcourt

The University of Port Harcourt is a university in the Nigerian city of Port Harcourt. It was established in 1975 as University College, PorHarcourt and was given University status in 1977.
